National Executives Engages Members on First Regional Tour

Private Basic School owners in the Bono, Bono East and Ahafo  regions were all smiley at the arrival of a delegation of national executives of the Ghana National Association of Private Schools (GNAPS), led by the president, Dr Damasus Tuurosong.

The delegation of national executives comprising the National Organizer Rev. Ezra A. Datnanyi, and First Deputy General, Mrs. Ama Atta Sagoe led by the president paid the courtesy call to the three regions as the first of a planned nationwide tour to sensitize and reignite the Association’s vision to its members.

This was also intended to allow the national executives to totally appreciate members’ concerns and enable them to find appropriate solutions to such issues while building and maintaining close relationships with members at all levels.

From Tuesday, May 2 to Friday, May 5, 2023, the delegation engaged members in the regional capitals, thus Sunyani, Goaso and Techiman on various themes of concern. The association’s vision was reiterated to energize members for more significant and impactful advocacy in each session of the engagement. Participants were also briefed on planned programs of the association’s activity calendar for the year.

In a deliberative forum, members shared their concerns and issues affecting their operations as they hope the delegation will proffer solutions to them.  Leadership took their concerns on the record, provided answers and direction(s), and urged the members to channel future grievances(s) or concerns to leadership for onward resolutions.

Members were admonished to be active and remain committed to the course GNAPS while the benefits of being members of the association were outlined.
