NaCCA Solicits GNAPS’ Input for New SHS Curriculum

GNAPS leadership had a successful engagement with officials of The National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NaCCA) on August 25, 2023, at the Volta Serene Hotel in Ho, the capital of the Volta Region. The meeting was an invitation from NaCCA to discuss a set of reforms to the Senior High Schools’/Senior Technical Schools’ curriculum.

GNAPS raises concerns over exorbitant charges slapped on Low-Cost Private Schools

The Ghana National Association of Private Schools (GNAPS) has described as exorbitant, charges slapped on LowCost Private Schools (LCPS) by some state regulatory agencies.
It said the new levy is suffocating and crippling their operations.
The event, which began with a float by some private school students and their teachers from the Tamale Metropolitan Directorate of
Education to the GNAT Hall in Tamale was attended by some proprietors, proprietresses, representatives from the Ghana Education Service and
some students.
