The Greater Accra Region

A HUB OF EDUCATION EXCELLENCE

The Greater Accra region, located in the southeastern part of Ghana along the Gulf of Guinea coast, is the smallest in land size but the most densely populated and urbanized region in the country. The regional capital, Accra, serves as Ghana’s political, economic, and administrative center.

Bordered by the Central Region to the west, the Eastern Region to the north, and the Volta Region to the east, Greater Accra’s coastal location makes it a vital hub for global trade and business.

Notably, the Greater Accra region boasts the highest number of private schools in Ghana, surpassing all other regions. With 56 GNAPS administrative municipalities and zones, it stands out as the most dynamic and vibrant chapter of the association.

Under the leadership of a PhD holder in [field of expertise], the region is strategically positioned to advocate effectively for the interests of private school children. The region is committed to empowering private school managers to enhance educational outcomes, setting benchmarks for educational excellence and innovation in Ghana.

The regional secretariat is located at Alhaji Tabora in the Ga West Municipal District of Accra. The current regional executives of the association are as follows:
