    Our core membership is comprised of privately owned or non-state basic schools, which serve as the foundation of GNAPS. These schools represent the frontline private educators dedicated to delivering quality and accessible education throughout Ghana.

    What it represents

    They form a diverse and vibrant tapestry of educational establishments, each weaving its unique thread into the fabric of Ghana's non-state education sector. The core membership are; Privately Owned Schools, Faith-Based Organizations' established schools, Community-Owned Schools, and Private Entities Owned schools.

    These Schools owned by individual entrepreneurs, serve as cornerstones of innovation and steadfast dedication. These establishments embody the entrepreneurial spirit, established and nurtured by passionate private individuals deeply committed to delivering excellence in education. Through their substantial investments and visionary leadership, they wield significant influence in shaping the educational landscape, cultivating nurturing environments where students flourish and achieve remarkable success.

    Faith-Based Group Schools

    Faith-Based Group Schools

    Faith-Based organizations, as part of their corporate social responsibility and in their commitment to enhancing lives within their operational communities, establish schools that go beyond mere academic instruction. Rooted in their religious traditions, these schools provide holistic learning experiences that nurture the mind, body, and spirit. By integrating faith into education, they instill values and ethics that guide students toward personal growth and meaningful contributions to society.

    Communities establish schools to address the specific educational needs of their children, either due to the absence of a state basic school or for specialized education. These schools serve as integral parts of their localities, born out of grassroots initiatives. Led by community leaders and supported by local resources, they create environments where education becomes a communal endeavor, fostering a sense of belonging and ownership among students and residents alike.

    NGOs, trusts, and foundations, among others, committed to educational development, establish schools in areas where they recognize the need for support-either as part of their social responsibility or driven by an entrepreneurial spirit. These entities contribute diverse perspectives and resources, enriching the educational landscape with innovative approaches and inclusive practices. Through collaboration and partnership, they work alongside other core members to expand access to quality education and advance the collective goals of GNAPS and the broader non-state education sector in Ghana.
