Author: GNAPS Category: Education, Research Publisher: GNAPS Published: March 2, 2026 More Details
Description:
The importance of youth voice in school management and policy decision-making cannot be overemphasized. Infusing their voices has beneficial outcomes for their selfdevelopment. Research findings show that even when youth are consulted, the approach is often tokenistic, and participation is differenated by geography, with youth from Global North being priorized.
The purpose of this study is to identify and gather data on the contribution of transitioning students and alumni of Low-Fee Private Schools (LFPS) towards advocacy, mentorship, and resource mobilizaon for their alma maters.
